So much time to do... nothing, really

Tuesday 6th - Thursday 8th January, 1 month, days 21-23

So, this is what happens when you *live* overseas, as opposed to travelling and cramming in all the sights and sounds you can, and you *aren't* working fulltime and studying part time...

On Tuesday and Wednesday I spent an inordinate amount of time on intarwebs catching up on emails etc and cursing stupid USB key which wouldn’t work; also, mourning all the things I planned to do while Matt was away but didn’t get to as was lying around house trying to will myself get better. On Thursday, Matt returned and slept all day due to having spent all night in Darwin airport. I didn’t care, as hanging around the house with someone else, even someone else who is asleep, is a lot more fun than on your own, especially when still recovering from Death Illness.

...I would say 'it's just like life back home', except back home I cram in as many social engagements and dancing events as I possibly can, so perhaps this is more holiday-like than I thought. Anyway, I did vow not to take on any projects this summer (because last summer I took on way too many extra projects and it was very stressful when uni started again and the projects hadn't finished).
