I miss all these insignificant things

I was checking out www.livejournal.com/community/canberra this morning and saw that they’re doing public consultation for refurbishment for Bunda Street. Now I am terribly, awfully homesick for Canberra. Specifically, Canberra at this time of year. Yesterday was my five year anniversary of starting in the public service, and I know the Multicultural Festival will be on again soon.

I miss the cafes! I miss walking down the street through the terribly expensive Canberra Centre to the terribly expensive SupaBarn! I miss those awful deciduous trees with their green green late summer leaves!
